ROA Exhibition

As part of a collaborative project, I worked with Bristol-based photographer Tia Payne (@shotbytia) to produce a series of of visual works portraying the sound and feeling of a nightclub. This was achieved by translating the drum patterns of 2-step and UK Garage into a mathematical sequence, serving as a foundation for a unique glitchy texture. This texture was explored with laser-cutting, screen-printing, and collage processes in combination with Tia’s photography. The series was publicly showcased at the Realm of Abstract Exhibition in Glasgow in December 2023.
